ABOUT ME

I’m Jenny and I am the photographer behind Little Tiger Feet Photography.

I’m a mum to five beautiful children, and a wife to an amazing man whom I met many moons ago in medical school.

As a mum, I am passionate about preserving memories. Time goes by so quickly, and if you blink, that moment’s gone. A photograph is so much more than just a picture; it is like hitting a pause button on life. Small details that have become forgotten over the years are preserved, evoking feelings and keeping moments alive in time. From the delicate features of your newborn, to the cheekiness of your toddler, and all the important milestones.

One of my favourite things in the world is to provide beautiful, timeless memories for the families I meet, and I feel very strongly that precious images deserve to be displayed in pride of place on your walls, and not stuck on a hard drive in a drawer somewhere. It’s such a privilege to be part of your family’s journey.

My interest in photography began as a child, when I would watch my father using his SLR film camera. I have always enjoyed taking my own pictures from a young age, though thankfully I no longer capture pictures of my thumb in the corner of each image!

While I went to medical school and trained to become a doctor, my passion for photography soon overtook me, and Little Tiger Feet Photography was created. I named it because I always said my love for my children was as fierce as a mother tiger’s, and somehow Little Tiger Feet stuck!

The Studio

My studio is a cosy room located in an annexe of my family home in Wollaton, Nottingham. The studio is light and airy; with light walls and flooring, the room is perfect for photography. My shelves are well-stocked, with a wide array of props and fabrics for babies, a selection of maternity garments for those mamas-to-be, and all you need for a fun cake smash. I want my clients to feel like they are at home and comfortable in the studio, and I am passionate about making your experience perfect. I have private bathroom facilities attached to the studio, and beyond that is the laundry room which is handy for when little ones have a poop explosion!

Having had 5 babies of my own, I am aware of how anxiety-provoking it can be to leave the house in the early days, so I try to make sure I stock anything you might need. Run out of nappies or come out without maternity/breast pads? I’ve got you covered.

Finding my studio is easy; I am located just off the A52 and across the road from the stunning Wollaton Deer Park and Gardens. This parkland is popular for dads to take older siblings to whilst I am photographing a new baby with mum. There is room on the driveway for your car, making it easy to park and get into the studio, and you’ll always get a warm welcome from myself, my husband if he’s home, sometimes my children, and often my golden doodle Barney.
