A professional child portrait session is a chance to press pause and capture your child just as they are right now — expressive, funny, thoughtful, and totally themselves.
My calm, child-led studio sessions in Nottingham are designed to bring out genuine smiles and natural moments, creating portraits that are far more than just a “nice photo” — they’re a memory of who your child is at this stage of life.

Every child is different, which is why I keep my sessions flexible and pressure-free. Whether your child is confident in front of the camera or a little more reserved, we’ll take our time to help them feel comfortable and relaxed.

WHEN SHOULD I HAVE A CHILD PORTRAIT SESSION?
Whenever you want to! You can book a portrait session to celebrate a milestone, such as a birthday, or a big event like starting school. Or you can book it for no reason at all, except that you want to capture some beautiful images of your beautiful child.
CAN SIBLINGS BE PHOTOGRAPHED TOGETHER?
Absolutely! If you have more than one child, I’d love to photograph them together. It’s a lovely way to create some interaction and emotion in the images, and to create some memories for your children.
WHAT SHOULD THEY WEAR?
We will have a chat before the session, when we can talk about the images you want to achieve from your session. I’ll help you decide what to bring, and I also have some outfits and props in my studio that might be suitable too. I will help you make these decisions.
