DOG PHOTOGRAPHER IN NOTTINGHAM
WHY HAVE A DOG PHOTO SESSION WITH US?
We all love our fur babies! They listen to our worries without judgment, they are always SO HAPPY to welcome us home after a long day at work, and are always absolutely overjoyed to see us. I’ve never had another human pee a bit with excitement at seeing me, but my dog does. That’s real love!!
I’m a huge lover of dogs, from the smallest to the biggest, and firmly believe that they are as much a part of a family as a child would be. With a much shorter life expectancy to humans, we get to see our dogs pass through all phases of their lives. In the blink of an eye, an exuberant puppy becomes an adult, then passes into old age. When they finally cross the rainbow bridge, all that we have left are photographs and memories. This is why it’s so important to have a dog portrait session! Get those pictures transformed into stunning wall art, and keep those memories alive for years to come.
I have worked hard to make the studio experience inclusive for all dogs, even the most nervous ones. By studying dog behaviour and learning to read their body language cues, I can make sure your dog’s photo session is tailored to their individual needs, to get the best out of them. This means that I can capture the unique personality and beauty of your furry friend. Their unconditional love and unwavering loyalty deserves celebrating, and what better way than a dog portrait session? Book in today, you will never regret it!

MY BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT!
In December 2025, I achieved my Craftsman qualification with the The Guild of Photographers, a highly respected recognition within the photography industry. This level is awarded for consistent excellence and technical ability, and I earned it with a carefully curated panel of 20 dog portraits. It reflects not only my passion for photographing dogs, but also my commitment to creating work of a consistently high professional standard. It was a labour of love, and something that I worked towards for 9 months before I was happy to submit my panel. The images are below.Â

YOUR QUESTIONS
Where will my session take place?
The session is a fine art style portrait session which takes place in the studio.Â
Can I have a photo of my child with my dog?
Yes you can, as part of the ultimate session. However, the main focus of the shoot will be your dog.Â
My dog pees himself when excited, does this mean he can't come to the studio?
This is a surprisingly common question. I don’t want a non-housetrained dog in the studio for obvious reasons, but I do understand that a little leak can and does occur. I always encourage a walk up and down outside, or a sniff in the garden area before the shoot, but I keep plenty of kitchen towel to hand in case of accidents, which takes care of the problem easily.
My dog is in season, can she still come for her shoot?
If your dog is in season at the time of her shoot, I will reorganise another date for you. She’s likely to have other things on her mind!
My dog won't sit still for photos at home
Some dogs come to the studio and sit serenely, and the photoshoot is completed in good time. Other dogs are SO excited and waggy and panting and it’s all so much fun! Once they have calmed down, if they are still struggling to sit still, I will use a slip lead that helps to contain them comfortably, and which I can edit out afterwards.

Keeping the Whole Family Cool During a Summer Heatwave
In the UK, we all dream of blue skies and sunny days until the UK decides to turn into the Sahara overnight! As lovely as these long, sunny days are, extreme heat can be uncomfortable and, for some members of the family, even dangerous. We just aren't cut out for this...

Meet The Client
The variety of clients who come to my studio is vast! From super well trained dogs who are regulars at dog shows, through to crazy puppies who pee on the floor! I love meeting every single one!

Biscuit & Cookie - Daschund x Collie
Just 6 weeks old, but they were VERY well behaved. The collie concentration shone through and they just wanted to be good boys!

Freddie & Kassie - Rottweilers
Rotties can sometimes get a bad reputation. They are big and strong, but these two were perfect models, well behaved and had immaculate manners! Even though they did want to give me too many kisses!

Freddie - Samoyed
Freddie arrived feeling a little newrvous. It was his frst time as a doggy-model, after all! But after a few snuggles with his human, Olivia, he was soon ready, willing and VERY keen to show off all that amazing white coat for the camera!
