DOG PHOTOGRAPHER NOTTINGHAM
WHY HAVE A DOG PORTRAIT SESSION WITH US?
We all love our fur babies, right? They listen to our worries without judgment, welcome us home after a long day at work, and are always happy to see us.
I’m a huge lover of dogs, from the smallest to the biggest, and firmly believe that they are as much a part of a family as a child would be. With a much shorter life expectancy to humans, we get to see our dogs pass through all phases of their lives. In the blink of an eye, an exuberant puppy becomes an adult, then passes into old age. When they finally cross the rainbow bridge, all that we have left are photographs and memories. This is why it’s so important to have a dog portrait session! Get those pictures transformed into stunning wall art, and keep those memories alive for years to come.
I have worked hard to make the studio experience inclusive for all dogs, even the most nervous ones. By studying dog behaviour and learning to read their body language cues, I can make sure your dog’s photo session is tailored to their individual needs, to get the best out of them. This means that I can capture the unique personality and beauty of your furry friend. Their unconditional love and unwavering loyalty deserves celebrating, and what better way than a dog portrait session? Book in today, you will never regret it!

YOUR QUESTIONS
Where will my session take place?
The session is a fine art style portrait session which takes place in the studio. However, if you book the Deluxe option, once we have finished with studio portraits, we shall then venture outside for some different pictures.
Can I have a photo of my child with my dog?
Yes absolutely! However the main focus of the shoot will be your dog, and the majority of the images received will reflect this.
My dog pees herself when excited, does this mean she can't come to the studio?
This is a surprisingly common question. Obviously I don’t want a non-housetrained dog in the studio for obvious reasons, but I do understand that a little leak can and does occur. I always encourage a walk up and down outside, or a sniff in the garden area before the shoot, but I keep plenty of kitchen towel to hand which takes care of the problem easily.
My dog is in season, can she still come for her shoot?
If your dog is in season at the time of her shoot, I will reorganise another date for you. She’s likely to have other things on her mind!
My dog won't sit still for photos at home
Some dogs come to the studio and sit serenely, and the photoshoot is completed in good time. Other dogs are SO excited and waggy and panting and it’s all so much fun! Once they have calmed down, if they are still struggling to sit still, I will use a slip lead that helps to contain them comfortably, and which I can edit out afterwards.
